Jennifer Blaisdell
I am Jennifer Blaisdell, though most everyone calls me Lil’ Jenn. I am originally from Pennsylvania and at the young age of 3, I was transplanted to Tampa, FL. I am the only child, but far from spoiled. I am happily married to my high school sweet-heart and we have two fur-babies, our little Miniature Pinschers. I have an Associate Degree in Business Administration and I am continuing to pursue my Bachelor's degree in Business Management at Saint Leo University. When I have spare time I enjoy time with my family, running, reading and traveling.
Regarding my promotional career, I do not have the most experience, but I am working on it. My intention is to continue with modeling and develop my career. Yet, I never imagined that this is the path that I would take. My Mom wasn't the typical dainty female. Coming from a family of 11, my Mom and her siblings were all treated equally. Consequently, there was no time for “lace and grace”, as she would say. As a result, I was a tomboy growing up; if I was crying I better have a dang good reason. I spent my time after school in the garage with my Dad, and sometimes Mom, working on cars, boats and motorcycles. For fun, I had go-karts and dirt bikes; the majority of my friends were boys. I loved everything little girls weren’t supposed to love, the outdoors, riding my BMX bike, getting dirty, starting fires, guns, pocket knives, climbing trees and building tree forts. I’ve always been a little uncomfortable around females that were more focused on perfecting their own appearance and pining after boys (Plus Daddy always Said, “education first, boys will be there”). Therefore, the idea of spending my time doing nails and hair seemed like a waste to me. I didn’t have any desire to be a girly girl until my freshmen year in high school and that’s only because there was a guy I was interested in. And truth be told, my Mom finally said I could wear makeup and I didn’t have to borrow my friends any more. From there on out, being a girl wasn’t so bad. But, don’t let the makeup and nails fool you, I still like getting a little dirty! After high school graduation, while furthering my education, I worked miscellaneous gigs for extra money. It wasn’t until 2010 that I landed the cover of a calendar for a local honky-tonk bar and it opened a lot of doors. I started go-go dancing for the Hard Rock and came across some amazing friends in the modeling & promotional industry, which led me to more opportunities, like modeling for FJ Motorsports. This opportunity is perfect for me. I have and always will have a fascination for motorcycles. I especially love riding motorcycles still to this day! There is nothing like the adrenalin and freedom you feel on a motorcycle. Although many people are afraid to ride on them- not this chick. I still remember arguing with my Mom about who was going to get to go with my Dad to Bike-Week or Sturgis. Even though I have always loved Harley, I have become very fond of street bikes, particularly the Suzuki GSX-R. With all of that said, I don’t think I’ll ever get used to being seen as pretty; I’m just doing what I love and being myself.
